DIRECTIONS:
Keep frozen. How to prepare: Stovetop: place frozen butternut squash into a small amount of boiling water. Cover, steam for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: in a microwave-safe dish, heat butternut squash for 3 to 4 minutes with a small amount of water. Microwave heating times may vary. Drain and season to taste. Great ways to enjoy: Pour frozen butternut squash into a 9x9" baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Make butternut squash soup. Add to stuffing, spaghetti sauce or lasagna, or try our butternut squash risotto. Store at or below 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C).
